Job Title: Senior Accountant

Timing: 07:00 PM - 04:00 AM (PKT - Monday - Friday)

Employment Type: Full Time (Onsite)

Location: Lahore, Pakistan

 

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and support management with timely financial insights. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on system experience, and the ability to operate independently while supporting US-based stakeholders. This position is ideal for accounting professionals seeking career advancement and exposure to international financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Ensure financial records comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.

Tax & Regulatory Support

  • Assist with preparation and review of federal, state, and indirect tax filings.
  • Support compliance with US tax and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Systems & Process Management

  • Utilize ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) for accounting transactions and reporting.
  • Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies.
  • Support system audits, data validations, and internal control reviews.

Business Support & Analysis

  • Provide financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and cost control initiatives.

Requirements

  • ACCA, CA (Part-Qualified or Finalist), or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4-6 years of experience in accounting, tax, or audit (US tax experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with US GAAP, QuickBooks, and tax software is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax filings, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
