About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and support management with timely financial insights. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on system experience, and the ability to operate independently while supporting US-based stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Ensure financial records comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Tax & Regulatory Support
- Assist with preparation and review of federal, state, and indirect tax filings.
- Support compliance with US tax and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Systems & Process Management
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) for accounting transactions and reporting.
- Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies.
- Support system audits, data validations, and internal control reviews.
Business Support & Analysis
- Provide financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and cost control initiatives.
Requirements
- ACCA, CA (Part-Qualified or Finalist), or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting or Finance.
- 4-6 years of experience in accounting, tax, or audit (US tax experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with US GAAP, QuickBooks, and tax software is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax filings, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
