Responsibilities:

Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely
financial recommendations to management
Prepare financial models and forecasts
Data entry from source documents to QuickBooks (Bank Statements and Credit
Card Statements)
Identify trends and opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and increased
profitability
Coordinate with other departments / stakeholders to ensure accurate financial
reporting and analysis
Process payroll checks from information received from clients
Maintain and update payroll records and ensure accuracy of information
Compute payroll taxes and deductions, and process paychecks
Monitor employee hours and time off requests
Respond to payroll inquiries from employees
Prepare and file payroll tax returns
Reconcile bank accounts, payroll accounts and credit card accounts
File sales tax reports
Monitor and review financial performance and report results to management
Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
Participate in the preparation of special projects and ad-hoc reports
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (ACCA Preferred)
Technical knowledge and experience working with QuickBooks
At least three years of relevant experience
Ability to analyze large amounts of data and draw meaningful conclusions
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
Knowledge of payroll systems and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
