Responsibilities:
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely
financial recommendations to management
• Prepare financial models and forecasts
• Data entry from source documents to QuickBooks (Bank Statements and Credit
Card Statements)
• Identify trends and opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and increased
profitability
• Coordinate with other departments / stakeholders to ensure accurate financial
reporting and analysis
• Process payroll checks from information received from clients
• Maintain and update payroll records and ensure accuracy of information
• Compute payroll taxes and deductions, and process paychecks
• Monitor employee hours and time off requests
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees
• Prepare and file payroll tax returns
• Reconcile bank accounts, payroll accounts and credit card accounts
• File sales tax reports
• Monitor and review financial performance and report results to management
• Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
• Participate in the preparation of special projects and ad-hoc reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (ACCA Preferred)
• Technical knowledge and experience working with QuickBooks
• At least three years of relevant experience
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data and draw meaningful conclusions
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of payroll systems and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
