Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to support a remote client in managing financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of financial statements, and the ability to deliver actionable insights that drive business performance.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends or variances
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support client-side finance team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting
• Conduct variance analysis between actuals and forecasts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in financial analysis or related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
