Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Procurement Analyst to support our procurement operations. This role will involve working closely with international suppliers across the U.S. and EU, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely sourcing of parts and equipment for industries including marine, oil & gas, mining, and heavy machinery. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, proactive in problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced, global procurement environment.

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and prepare cost comparison reports.
• Manage purchase requests and assist in the preparation of RFQs and RFPs.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and shipping terms under supervision.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.
• Coordinate shipments with logistics teams and monitor delivery schedules.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and potential alternative suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement activities with project needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience
• Basic understanding of procurement processes, RFQs/RFPs, and international trade terms.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work under supervision and in cross-functional teams.
